In material selection, we prioritized durability, moisture resistance and environmental friendliness. For guest room furniture, we chose high-quality teak and FSC-certified solid wood multi-layer boards, strictly controlling moisture content between 8%-12% to avoid deformation in Bangkok’s hot and humid weather. Upholstered furniture in guest rooms and public areas adopted high-density, wear-resistant fabric with soft textures, matching the hotel’s warm color palette and ensuring easy cleaning for daily hotel operations.
In design, we abandoned excessive decoration, focusing on simplicity, comfort and cultural integration. Guest room furniture, including beds, wardrobes and desks, featured smooth lines and hidden details—such as built-in USB ports beside beds and induction LED lights in wardrobes—to meet modern guests’ needs. We incorporated subtle Thai elements, such as bamboo-patterned carvings on desk edges, echoing the hotel’s overall design without being overly decorative.
During production, we implemented strict quality control, using electronic cutting machines to keep errors within 0.5mm and assigning experienced craftsmen to manually polish every corner. Considering long-distance transportation from China to Bangkok, we adopted shock-proof and moisture-proof packaging to ensure furniture arrived intact. Our installation team, with rich international project experience, completed installation efficiently while protecting the hotel’s hard decoration.
This cooperation with Conrad Bangkok was a testament to Dushang’s professionalism. We not only delivered high-quality, Thai-inspired furniture that perfectly matched the hotel’s style but also provided one-stop service from design and production to installation, earning high recognition from the hotel team. Dushang will continue to adhere to craftsmanship, integrate local cultural elements, and deliver reliable luxury furniture solutions for more international hotel brands worldwide.
